Hello, I'm Giulia
I am a project manager, a parent, and an expat living in Rome, Italy.
A few years ago, I moved here with my family. What began as a short-term assignment gradually became a new chapter of life overseas.
How It Started
Moving to Italy wasn't part of the long-term plan. Like many expat relocations, it began as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far larger.
The opening months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, fresh expectations. Daily tasks seemed more complex than expected.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and a lot of hands-on learning. Gradually, routines took shape. We found places that fit us, connected with other families, and began building something that felt secure.
Why I Built Zivral Nyltara Sylp
The majority of information online was either corporate relocation tips or shallow travel content. What was missing was an honest, day-to-day family viewpoint.
This site aims to bridge that gap — practical guidance based on real life in Italy.
What this site offers (and what it does not)
This site is:
- Hands-on experience from living in Italy
- Centered on family life and everyday realities
- Updated whenever there is a real change
This site isn't:
- Not a tourism board resource
- Not a sponsored review platform
- Not just a generic travel blog
Looking Ahead
Our time in Italy continues, and so does the learning journey. As long as the information remains helpful, I’ll keep documenting what we discover.
If you have questions about family life in Rome or anywhere in Italy, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Best regards,
Giulia
